All Saints Subacute & Transitional Care is seeking a detail-oriented Infection Preventionist (IP) to oversee the facility's infection control program. The ideal candidate will have a California LVN license, relevant experience in long-term care, and a strong commitment to clinical safety and regulatory compliance
Job Summary
Plan, develop, and direct the facility’s infection control program in accordance with current rules and regulations (CDC, OSHA, and Title 22).
Monitor infection practices, perform case-finding rounds, and prepare monthly summaries of resident/personnel infections for leadership review.
Lead the orientation of new employees on hand hygiene, PPE, and aseptic techniques, and conduct annual OSHA and CDC in-service training.
