Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This position involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities, as well as assisting with communication between employees, residents, families, and community personnel to ensure residents' needs are met.
The Activity Assistant also helps develop monthly activity schedules, maintains attendance records, assists with transportation arrangements, and supports quality assurance and discharge planning activities.
