Job Summary
The Sterile Supply Technician II functions as an integral member of the Central Sterile Supply team in assuring the safe and accurate supply of operative instrumentation.
The Sterile Supply Technician II receives, inspects, sorts, decontaminates, re-builds sets, wraps instruments, sterilizes, and delivers surgical instrumentation for operative and invasive procedures.
This person is responsible for the decontamination of surgical instruments, utensils and other surgical items, preparation & packing, processing sterile stores & other miscellaneous duties.

1 course or 3 months experience in maintenance of surgical instruments
1 course or 3 months experience in sterilizing techniques
