Job Summary

• The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day-to-day activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility or facilities, including direct and indirect services, supervision of therapy personnel, and implementation of new programs.
• Essential duties include directly supervising and guiding all therapy personnel, performing daily scheduling, providing direct care, assuring resident rehabilitation needs are met, and reviewing/updating therapy services.
• The DOR must ensure adherence to regulatory standards, complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, coordinate denials management, meet productivity standards, and approve timecards.
