Job Summary

  • The N.C. Office of the Commissioner of Banks (NCCOB) is responsible for the chartering and regulation of North Carolina's state banks, trust companies, mortgage companies, as well as registration and licensing of various financial institutions operating in North Carolina.
  • This position will use applicable state and federal laws, applicable provisions of the North Carolina Administrative Code, and internal policies and procedures in the processing of applications and consumer complaints for regulated entities while providing excellent customer service to applicants and others.
  • Accurately updating, uploading required documents, and maintaining the Nationwide Multi-state Licensing System (NMLS) and internal systems by established timelines.
