Job Summary
The Safeguarding Officer is responsible for integrating Safeguarding standards into the implementation of emergency interventions funded by OCHA and implemented by IRC and other consortium members.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that emergency responses respect fundamental humanitarian principles and the dignity of affected populations, and coordinating Safeguarding/PSEA standards among consortium members.

Key Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in humanitarian/development sector
Confirmed experience in Safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, or community protection
Experience in capacity building, training, and coaching teams and partners

University degree (Bac+4/5 preferred) in law, social sciences, child protection, gender, international development, or related field
