The goal of OT is to maximize the ability of each individual to perform self-care, work, and leisure activities to the best of their physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
A caregiver who excels in this role will evaluate patients and apply a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with functional limitations, impairments and disorders.
