Job Summary

• The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
• Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting individual, small, and large group activities, and assisting in providing good communication between employees, residents, families, and external agencies.
• The role involves assisting in the development of monthly activity calendars, maintaining attendance records, and participating in discharge planning and resident assessments.
