The State of Georgia is seeking a Cosmetology Adjunct Instructor for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach various cosmetology courses across multiple campuses. The position requires a Diploma in Cosmetology, relevant field experience, and a Master Cosmetologist License, with a preference for candidates who also possess teaching experience and additional licensure

Job Summary

  • Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses and assesses students’ satisfactory progress based on established course grading requirements.
  • Teaches Cosmetology courses in a classroom/lab/field environment that closely simulates the industry environment while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
  • Requires strong computer skills, communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population, with selected candidates able to work morning or evening hours, Monday through Thursday.

  • Cosmetology teaching experience (Preferred)
