  • The role requires demonstrating detailed knowledge of retirement plans, Ascensus products, and federal regulations like ERISA, DOL, and IRS.
  • The consultant acts as a technical resource and mentor to other associates while managing escalated client issues and ensuring data security.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 5 years direct client experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ERISA regulations
  • Experience with plan recordkeeping systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills

Nice-to-have

  • ASPPA or CEBS certification preferred
  • Experience with Access and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Proven track record in client retention
  • Strong project management capabilities

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years direct client experience required
  • Certification or working towards ASPPA/CEBS preferred
  • Knowledge of plan documents and compliance testing
  • Ability to travel as needed
