Must-have
Perform laboratory tests and calculations
Quality control and instrument maintenance
Phlebotomy procedures
Data entry and patient information retrieval
Adherence to regulatory compliance guidelines
Exposure to blood and body fluids
Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in medical or biological science
Current state license if applicable
ASCP, AMT or AAB generalist certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist
Certification Maintenance Program completion if certified by ASCP after January 1, 2004
