Job Summary

• The Highway Safety Program Coordinator administers federal grant funds to public and private entities in accordance with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and State regulations and guidelines, for the purpose of preventing fatalities, injuries, and property damage from motor vehicle crashes.
• The position fosters existing and identifies new partnerships within State of Maine agencies, state and local law enforcement, private partners, and others to develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral highway safety programs and projects.
