The SIU Investigator will conduct field and desk investigations of insurance claims referred to the Special Investigative Unit.
This role requires coordinating investigations with outside contacts including the Department of Insurance Fraud Division, NICB, and law enforcement agencies.
Kemper provides a laptop computer, cell phone, digital camera, MP3 recorder, and other office equipment to support remote work from the applicant's residence.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Three years insurance claims investigation experience
Working knowledge of digital photo metadata
Experience using internet for investigative purposes
Knowledge of casualty insurance principles
Valid driver's license with clean record
Nice-to-have
NICB Basic or Advanced Academy completion
Reid Interviewing and Interrogation Course
FCLS or FCLA designation preferred
CIFI or CFE certification preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Key Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience
Five years professional investigation experience in economic/insurance matters
Completion of state regulatory educational requirements
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
