Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy, a California license, and ideally some experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care settings
Job Summary
The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members, and maintains accurate documentation of therapy services in the medical record.
The Occupational Therapist also provides ongoing in-service education and training to facility staff to support resident outcomes and regulatory compliance.
This position supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), aides, and students.
