The Electro Technician Officer is responsible for the full implementation of the Company Safety Management System and ensuring the safe operation of all electrical and electronic systems.
This role involves supervising engineering crew, vendors, and sub-contractors while maintaining adequate inventories of electrical and electronic spares.
Incumbents must be physically capable of working in high noise levels, below decks, and in restricted spaces while performing emergency duties.

valid ETO credentials and flag state requirements
experience on vessels of similar size and route
ability to read and write English commands
physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) implementation

valid passport highly preferred
OPITO BOSIET credential for helicopter crew changes
strong crew resource management skills
experience with charterer relations and cost control
Key Requirements
Valid Merchant Mariners Credential and TWIC Card
Training certificate as Electrical or Electronic Technician
Minimum six months experience on similar vessels
Valid medical certificate and passport preferred
OPITO BOSIET credential required for occasional helicopter changes
