As part of Nexstar Media Group, you will collaborate with the News Director to shape long-term weather strategy and public safety initiatives.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or related field
Minimum 3 years on-air meteorology experience
Expertise in severe weather coverage and radar interpretation
Knowledge of NOAA products including NWS SPC NHC WPC
Availability for nights weekends and holidays during breaking weather
Nice-to-have
AMS and/or NWA Seal certification preferred
Experience with Baron's Lynx graphics system
Strong digital and social media engagement skills
Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
Community event representation experience
