Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Deep expertise in U.S. Department of Defense R&D funding ecosystems
  • Experience with DARPA, ARPA-E, and Service Labs
  • Track record of winning $1M–$50M+ government-funded R&D programs
  • Knowledge of BAAs, FAR-based contracts, cooperative agreements, and OTAs
  • Active or recently active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret minimum)

Nice-to-have

  • Former DARPA Program Manager or SETA/FFFRDC analyst experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to build pipeline from scratch
  • Technical credibility to engage with world-class researchers
  • Familiarity with energy, power systems, AI/ML, or hypersonics
  • Working knowledge of Shipley capture management methodologies

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to nature of work
  • Minimum Secret security clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred)
  • Experience in DoD R&D program management or S&T policy
  • Demonstrated network within the DoD S&T community
