Carl Zeiss Pty Ltd is seeking a Head of Automation to lead an interdisciplinary engineering team focused on developing automation solutions for measurement applications. The ideal candidate should have substantial leadership experience in engineering, particularly in automation technology and system integration, and be able to effectively translate customer requirements into viable technical solutions
Job Summary
You will lead an interdisciplinary engineering team that develops automation solutions for metrology applications and transfers them into customer projects.
You will be responsible for the entire development and customer projects over the entire lifecycle: from needs analysis and design of modular automation solutions to commissioning of the systems at the customer's site.
You will develop the engineering organization, create clear roles, processes, and interfaces, and use methods such as model-based systems engineering, simulation, and virtual commissioning to increase development quality and speed.
