Job Summary
The Lab Lead Technician directs technical aspects of PMEL operations to ensure production efficiencies and compliance with military directives.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, aligning, repairing, and certifying various types of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) at the component level.
The role requires leading subordinate technicians while serving as a technical expert to ensure all policies conform to TO 00-20-14 and AFI standards.

Must-have
6 years PMEL or calibration experience
Troubleshoot and repair TMDE systems
Certify electronic and mechanical equipment
Interpret block and wiring diagrams
Conduct root cause analysis and reporting
Nice-to-have
Advanced software application knowledge
Surface-mount technology repair skills
Strong customer service and communication
Experience as alternate PQA evaluator
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Key Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 6 years PMEL/calibration experience
Proven excellent quality record documentation
Previous Quality Assurance experience required
Ability to read schematic and blueprint documents
