The Inpatient Coding Auditor is responsible for auditing inpatient coders and offshore auditors to ensure a minimum of 95% coding and DRG accuracy.
This role requires maintaining current knowledge of federal, state, and local coding regulations while utilizing encoder software to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
Candidates must hold a CCS, CIC, or CDIP certification and possess at least three years of experience coding inpatient hospital accounts.
