Job Summary
The pharmacy residency program is a twelve-month postgraduate training program designed to develop a skilled practitioner who is prepared to deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical services and interact with members of the health care team accountable for the care of patients with complex conditions in a community hospital environment.
The resident will be responsible for supervising and performing in all pharmacy operations in accordance with accredited hospital policies and procedures, ethical and professional practices, The Joint Commission standards, and State and Federal requirements.
Initiates, documents, and participates in department activities that promote positive patient outcomes.
