This seasonal contract position supports the National Science Foundation managed United States Antarctic Program by supervising maintenance and construction work under strict safety protocols.
The coordinator is responsible for hands-on diagnosis, repair, and scheduled preventative maintenance of critical facilities life/safety equipment while ensuring data integrity in Maximo.
Candidates must be willing to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods, pass rigorous medical and background checks, and participate in station community programs.

Must-have
Six years documented maintenance experience
Three years supervisory or lead role
HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical skills
Antarctica deployment willingness
US citizenship required for credentials
Nice-to-have
Experience with oil fired combustion heating appliances
Alerton Ascent Compass Software knowledge
Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) familiarity
Building Automation Systems expertise
Key Requirements
High School diploma or GED
Minimum six years preventive/corrective maintenance experience
Minimum three years in a lead or supervisor role
Valid US Driver's License
Must obtain facility credentials requiring US Citizenship
