Job Summary

  • The Senior Space Domain Awareness and Space Control Engineer will provide project and technical leadership, analytical support, algorithm development, systems engineering and architecting, and modeling and simulation analysis for space protection, space threat susceptibility, directed energy analysis, and space domain awareness.
  • Contribute to risk and resilience assessments over a broad range of threats to satellite operations including, but not limited to, RF and optical interference and counterspace threats.
  • The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government, and U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Key Requirements

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science or equivalent, or a bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of applicable experience
  • Demonstrated experience within SDA and space control mission areas
  • Experience with electronic warfare and directed energy effects
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, analysis, and/or algorithm development
  • Experience in at least one programming language: Java, C++, Python, MATLAB, C, or FORTRAN
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
