Parkwayal is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for their Antelope Valley Care Center, responsible for evaluating and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing staff training. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed in California, and possess strong communication and supervisory skills
Job Summary
The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), aides and students.
The essential functions of this position require the ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or excess of 20 pounds of force constant to move objects.
