• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology
• 1 year or more clinical laboratory testing experience
• MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification
• non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits that meet CLIA standards
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems
• Proficient with computers
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
