Job Summary

  • Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • This position will provide inpatient consult and outpatient support for Medina Hematology and Oncology services.
  • The ideal candidate will have Oncology APP experience with management of infusion suite and outpatient Hematology and Oncology patients.

Must-have

  • Hematology Oncology II PRN
  • Inpatient consult and outpatient support
  • Management of antineoplastics
  • Bone marrow biopsies
  • Tumor board participation

  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Compassion and professionalism

Key Requirements

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Adult, Family or Acute Care Certified
  • Oncology APP experience preferred
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for APRN
  • Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program
  • Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA
  • Must have arrangements with at least one physician
  • Must be credentialed and privileged by the Medical Executive Committee
