Job Summary
Responsible for planning, implementing, and directing all activities of the Water Utilities and Wastewater divisions including the Water Laboratory and Pretreatment areas.
Establish departmental goals, long-range plans, objectives, policies, directives, regulations and standard operating procedures based upon the needs of the City and the Water Utilities and Wastewater divisions.
Train and develop department personnel to ensure adequate knowledge of current water utilities procedures and methods as defined by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences or related field
10 years experience in Water/Wastewater Utilities
5-7 years experience in a management role
Master’s Degree in related field of study
10+ years experience in Water/Wastewater utilities
7+ years experience in a municipal management role
