The MDS Nurse is responsible for coordinating and completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations.
This role ensures accurate documentation of resident care, supports reimbursement processes, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes for residents.
Stay current with regulatory changes impacting MDS and skilled nursing documentation and provide education and guidance to staff on documentation standards and MDS requirements.
