Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 5+ years aerospace wire harness design experience
  • Proficiency in Creo Pro/Engineer and Windchill
  • Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620A and NASA-STD-8739.4 standards
  • Experience with EMI/RFI shielding and wire derating analysis
  • Ability to create 3D routed harness data files

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Pro/E Piping software
  • Familiarity with Unigraphics NX routing software
  • Background in launch vehicle or spacecraft systems
  • Understanding of harness fabrication processes

Key Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical or appropriate engineering field
  • US citizenship, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee status required
  • 5+ years of experience designing wire harnesses for aerospace industry
