Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to support systems and drive execution of programs to effectively maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) regulations.
  • You will be responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions by conducting documented job hazard analysis and participating in activities to ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering technology
  • 1-3 years EHSS experience or OHST certification
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Experience conducting internal and external audits
  • Ability to manage corrective and preventive actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Nice-to-have

  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
  • Intermediate to advanced English conversational skills
  • Experience with emergency response teams
  • Calm demeanor in high-energy production environments
  • Strong interpersonal and recordkeeping abilities

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, natural, or equivalent science/engineering technology
  • Associate's degree with 1-3 years of experience OR OHST certification with 3 years of EHSS experience
  • Experience managing Level 2 incidents or events
  • Knowledge of chemical physical properties and hazards
  • Spanish language capability preferred for Santo Domingo location
