Job Summary

  • PATH seeks a Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for Asia, Middle East, & Europe (AMEE) for the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Project.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing and providing technical leadership for day-to-day implementation of surveillance activities, leading development and coordination of surveillance activities, and providing technical oversight to country-based technical staff.
  • The role requires a Master’s degree or its International Equivalent in epidemiology, public health, veterinary medicine or related field, with at least 5 years of international experience applying epidemiological principles and methods in the design, implementation, and management of surveillance systems.

Key Requirements

  • Experience leading national and regional infectious disease surveillance projects
  • Proficiency in English
