Job Summary

  • Lead and manage the landfilling operation, ensuring all staff, visitors and contractors follow site rules and behave safely while controlling waste reception, acceptance, and disposal to maximise void use.
  • Manage and develop a team of machine operatives and office staff (7 direct reports, up to 30 indirect), including training plans, wages, overtime, holidays and HR/ER procedures.
  • Annual salary of £50,000 with either a monthly car allowance of £550 OR a company vehicle, plus an attractive yearly bonus.
