Job Summary

  • The Uncrewed Systems Department of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State is seeking undergraduate students to design and assemble small unmanned rotorcraft and work on digital engineering challenges.
  • Typical duties will include developing control systems, implementing them on rotorcraft, developing test plans, and conducting flight tests using modeling and simulation.
  • Students studying Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields are encouraged to apply and will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer.
