The Uncrewed Systems Department of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State is seeking undergraduate students to design and assemble small unmanned rotorcraft and work on digital engineering challenges.
Typical duties will include developing control systems, implementing them on rotorcraft, developing test plans, and conducting flight tests using modeling and simulation.
Students studying Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields are encouraged to apply and will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer.
