Performs phlebotomy using standard techniques for venipunctures, heel sticks and finger sticks, and provides instruction/assistance with non-blood specimen collection.
Collects and processes patient specimens in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures, maintains work area cleanliness, and performs laboratory support duties.
May mentor students in phlebotomy utilizing AHN policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned.
