Job Summary

  • Lead acoustic strategy and requirements, defining engine and aircraft community noise assessment approaches and translating regulations into acoustic requirements.
  • Develop, modernize, and validate computational aeroacoustics (CAA) tools and workflows, running analyses on turbomachinery and propulsion components.
  • Partner with aerodynamics, systems, and program teams, serving as a key acoustic technical interface for leadership, customers, and airframers.

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
  • At least 7 years of industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience with engine or aircraft community noise prediction
  • PhD in Engineering or related field with a focus in acoustics or aeroacoustics (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in propulsion noise (preferred)
