Must-have
Operate radiographic equipment independently
Perform patient positioning and immobilization
Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Follow infection control and safety procedures
Administer contrast media under physician supervision
Use various radiology equipment including fluoroscopy and portable X-ray
Nice-to-have
Positive, team oriented attitude
Experience with Meditech system
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
Cultural sensitivity and use of interpreter services
Strong time management and problem solving skills
Key Requirements
Graduate of accredited Radiography Program
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
Current ARRT registration within 1 year of licensure
BLS/CPR Certification required
1-4 years Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
