The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist – Gynecologic Oncology serves as an integral member of the oncology care team, supporting both inpatient and outpatient gynecologic oncology services.
This caregiver spends approximately 25% of their time in a decentralized inpatient role, rounding with patient care teams, providing evidence-based medication recommendations and supporting complex oncology pharmacotherapy.
The remaining 75% of time is dedicated to outpatient gynecologic oncology practice, managing patients under a collaborative practice agreement, delivering drug therapy recommendations and providing comprehensive patient education.
