Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Technical Data Steward will implement and operate technical data stewardship for supply chain datasets supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS).
This role partners with supply chain domain stewards, data engineering, MDM, security/compliance, and program teams to ensure authoritative, compliant, and observable data flows.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Must-have
Implement and operate technical data stewardship
Ensure authoritative, compliant, and observable data flows
Define and enforce data contracts and schema standards
Instrument and validate end-to-end data lineage
Design and maintain automated data quality checks
Support MDM/Governance validation
Ensure compliance with defense-specific requirements
Nice-to-have
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP
Familiarity with EDI/messaging and API management
Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines
Prior aerospace/defense contracting experience
Key Requirements
6+ years in data engineering, technical stewardship, MDM, or related technical role
Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with schema management, data profiling, lineage validation
Strong Python, SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT
Practical experience with MDM concepts and ERP/WMS/TMS integration patterns
Experience operating in regulated or defense-related environments
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
