Performing phlebotomies and EKGs
Coordinating patient referrals and authorizations
Maintaining clean exam rooms and equipment
Documenting medical records accurately

Key Requirements
High school diploma/GED required
Completion of approved medical assistant training program
Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA)
BLS certification required
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for pediatric behavioral health settings
