Job Summary

  • This two-year postdoctoral position is funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support the development of open-source technology for applying AI methods to visual culture.
  • The researcher will create multimedia Open Educational Resources, contribute to workshop facilitation, and assist in curating diverse visual collections for the Distant Viewing platform.
  • Candidates have the opportunity to teach up to one course per semester and travel to international conferences while working closely with project PIs Lauren Tilton and Taylor Arnold.
