Job Summary
The Hydronics Operations Engineer supports the reliable and efficient operation of Penn State’s chilled water and heating hot water systems, including campus distribution loops, plant equipment, and building-level hydronic systems.
This position develops and maintains preventative maintenance programs for chilled water and hot water assets; assists in planning and documenting system upgrades; and prepares technical reports and recommendations to support University decision-making related to hydronic distribution capacity, system reliability, equipment renewal, and operational strategies.
