Job Summary

  • Serve as a temporary employee supporting academic functions including processing employment transactions and uploading documentation within Cornell’s Human Resources Information System, Workday.
  • Provide interpretation and application of human resource policies, laws and practices, and assist with the onboarding experience for temporary employees and other new hires.
  • This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, with employees typically performing this role remotely two days per week and on-site in Ithaca, New York, three days per week.
