Job Summary

• The Veterinary Assistant is responsible for providing excellent performance of all tasks necessary to support the doctors and to provide client/patient services with all necessary activities for the smooth flow of operation and effective utilization of Equine Surgery & Medicine.
• Essential duties include assisting doctors with in-clinic and in-hospital appointments, ensuring proper patient care, performing end-of-day tasks, and assisting with farm calls.
• The role requires the ability to lift 50lbs, restrain horses, and maintain a pleasant demeanor while dealing with stress and interruptions.
