Job Summary

  • Performs a variety of activities relating to the identification, collection, transportation, processing, packaging, and preparing of hazardous materials for storage, usage, and disposal, in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements, for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL).
  • Plan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise hazardous material management functions for MCPP-PHIL Task Order by implementing regulatory and legislative environment requirements and industry practices regarding a full range of hazardous material handling procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Six years directly related work in Hazardous Materials management
  • AA degree in safety or environmental engineering or related field
  • HQMC approved formal school(s) or OSHA course(s) certification
  • Completion of Hazardous Materials/Waste Course in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910-120 or equivalent
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Permit
