The Sales Manager – Industrial Gases is responsible for developing and managing Air Liquide’s industrial gas business in bulk within the assigned territory by driving sustainable revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, securing long-term supply contracts, and delivering value-based solutions in line with Air Liquide’s safety, operational excellence, and sustainability standards

Job Summary

  • The Sales Manager – Industrial Gases is responsible for developing and managing Air Liquide’s industrial gas business in bulk within the assigned territory by driving sustainable revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, securing long-term supply contracts, and delivering value-based solutions in line with Air Liquide’s safety, operational excellence, and sustainability standards.
  • Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, growing Air Liquide’s presence, developing territory and account strategies, identifying new opportunities, managing strategic accounts, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • The role requires strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Project teams, Finance, and Safety & Quality teams, as well as monitoring market intelligence and managing a team of Key Account Managers and Business Developers.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B industrial sales
  • Prior experience in industrial gases, chemicals, utilities, or energy-intensive industries
  • Experience handling large industrial customers and long-term contracts
  • Prior experience in managing team is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial) preferred
  • MBA / PGDM in Sales or Marketing is an advantage
