Job Summary
The Mental Health Counselor will provide confidential evidence-based mental health counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services that promote the well-being to students experiencing personal, social, and emotional difficulties.
Services will be provided both in-person and via telehealth, and this position will work closely with team members from medical and health promotion colleagues, Residential Life, and Student Affairs, along with faculty, and staff from across the campus.
Responsibilities include direct clinical services, conducting assessments, consulting on medical leave protocol, initiating emergency evaluation, making referrals, and responding to campus emergencies in a rotating on-call capacity.
