The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is seeking Head Start Early Childhood Education Assistants and Substitute Teachers for continuous recruitment. This role involves supporting preschool-aged children in a federally funded program while maintaining a safe environment and fostering school readiness
Job Summary
This position will collaborate with full-time teachers and teacher assistants to support children’s school readiness and assist with center responsibilities to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Head Start supports staff to complete required coursework to meet requirements, with Child Development Associate (CDA) training and support provided, which may lead to certification and possible advancement.
A hiring incentive is available: New Hires working 21 hours or more per week will receive a $500.00 bonus after working 90 days; new hires working 20 hours or less per week will receive a $250.00 bonus after the 90-day period.
