The Commonwealth Bank Group is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager for its Open Banking Compliance advisory team. The role focuses on providing expert advice on the Consumer Data Right (CDR) and Digital Identity, requiring a strong legal or compliance background and at least five years of relevant experience

Job Summary

  • Provide expert Line 2 advice across CDR (as Data Holder and Accredited Data Recipient), expansion of CDR into Non-Bank Lending, CDR ingestion use cases, ACCC engagement, and ConnectID/Digital ID participation.
  • This is a technically demanding role requiring confident interpretation of primary legislation, rules and technical data standards, and the ability to form clear, defensible positions on novel issues.
  • This role offers the opportunity to operate at the technical core of the regime, shape the Bank’s interpretation of complex obligations, and engage directly with regulators on high-impact issues.
