• Lead technical efforts in selecting, qualifying, and managing electronic or mechanical components for products, acting as the primary technical point of contact with suppliers.
• Assess risk through FMEAs and develop process validation plans (MVP, IQ/OQ/PQ) to be implemented at supplier, partnering with internal design teams to assess product lifecycle design changes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years manufacturing process development experience
• Hands-on knowledge of mold tooling design
• Experience designing injection molded/extruded plastics
• Familiar with various grades of polymers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in Medical Device industry or regulated environment
• Strong Understanding of Validation Procedures & Statistical Analysis
• Project Management experience
• Technical proficiency in statistical tools like Minitab
• Application of GD&T
