Job Summary

  • Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) per Boeing’s applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Make adjustments during the process of the weld to compensate for variations in thickness, mismatch, gap, equipment anomalies, assembly fit-up, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will support test fabrication in the Puget Sound area and must be capable of traveling to multiple sites between Seattle, Everett and Tukwila.

  • 3+ years’ experience with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
  • 3+ years’ experience welding/cutting on steel/aluminum
